Chamblee officials announced the city will be celebrating “Georgia Cities Week” April 20-26, 2025. The city will hold a variety of events throughout the week, including a treasure hunt for free art, an art festival, and trivia night! The theme of this year’s Georgia Cities Week is “Imagine the Possible.” Cities across Georgia will be celebrating Georgia Cities Week, sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), to showcase and celebrate cities and the many services they provide.
“We’re very proud of our city and the services we provide that make it attractive to residents and visitors,” said Mayor Brian Mock. “Cities provide the services and infrastructure to help businesses grow and set the stage for events where families and individuals can gather as a community.”
Events planned for the week are:
- All Week: Art Drop Chamblee
- A treasure hunt for art! (Details HERE)
- April 20th: Chamblee Art Fest hosted by Splash Festivals, Inc.
- Over 100 art vendors with a kid’s zone, food, drinks, and more will line Downtown Chamblee to Peachtree Road from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- April 21st : Chamblee Unplugged
- Get to know the Chamblee staff like never before - unscripted, unfiltered, and unexpectedly hilarious. Filmed during “Laugh at Work” week and sponsored by the Chamblee Employee Engagement Committee!
- April 22nd: Car Seat Safety Check
- Join us for a free Car Seat Safety Check at Plaza Fiesta, located at 4166 Buford Hwy NE, Chamblee. GA 30341, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., to help ensure your car seat is
properly installed and your child is riding safely. No pre-registration required.

- April 23rd: Meet the City & Mike Veal Band
- Come meet City staff, learn about what’s going on in each department, and enjoy some music, food and beverages at Moondog Pub & Grub, located at 5077 Peachtree Road, Chamblee, GA, 30341, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- April 24th : Chamblee-themed Trivia
- Join us for Chamblee-themed trivia at Vintage Pizzeria, located at 5434 Peachtree Road #101 at 7:00 p.m. Prizes will be given out to 1st , 2nd , and 3rd place winners!
- April 25th: Discover Chamblee Friday

- April 26th: Elaine Clark Center Hustle for Hope 5K
